Code of Conduct for Research Involving Humans

The final report of the Tri-Council Working Group on ethical conduct for research involving humans was submitted to the three Councils in July of 1997.

The Councils have since issued the " Tri-Council Policy Statement: Ethical Conduct for Research Involving Humans."

Michael McDonald, co-chair of the Tri-Council Working Group, has reflected on the differences between the the Working Group's final report and the Policy Statement produced by the Councils themselves.
